The seat latch on top of the rear seat that allows the seat back to raise and lower on the drivers side on my friends 02 Outlander broke.
I have been able to replace the latch but cannot get the cable into the latch due to insufficient slack in the cable
I unclipped the cable at the bottom end on the outdboard side and got almost enough slack, but I think I need to also unclip the bottom of the second cable on the inboard side.
How can I access that inboard side cable?

Tried removing the seat but after pulling the two bolts in the back it was still locked in.

Any other tips on how to get the cable into the seat latch would be appreciated
