Hello.

My friend is in difficult situation: he has installed the password for factory Bluetooth system and forgot it.

Delaer doesn't knowhow to remove it.
Somewhere in web we found the instruction: press and hold 2 sec "hang-up" button then pause then hold 2 sec twice again.
Don't work.

Help please. Thanx in advance.

PS:I mean passwordfor access to bluetooth setup menu. NotPIN-code for phone connect.

 

Sergy on page 3-215 of the USA owners manual there is a telephone number for Mitsubishi blue tooth support. The number is 888-702-4100. This is a USA number so you would have to dial the correct country code. They are open from 7 AM - 8PM Chicago (USA) time.I do not know where in Russia you are, but Moscow is 9 hours ahead of Chicago. Perhaps if you called them they may be able to answer your question. Also, you may want to check in your owners manual to see if Russia has a number for blue tooth support. Good Luck.

 

Sergy I forgot to mention the Bluetooth support is open Monday through Friday 7AM - 8PM Chicago time, so they are closed on the weekend.

Dont thinkthat I'm lazy and attempt to save my money. In two words - I can read and understand English. I write with errors. I understand the speaking worse. I speak awful...My English speaking experienceis very low for present. Sorry.

Sergy, this is what Mitsubishi bluetooth told me to do to reset the setup password.

Turn on the system and without touching any other buttons press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds, release it, press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds, release it, then press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds and release it.All this must be done within 10 seconds. In other words you must press and hold the hangup button for 2 seconds three separate times within 10 seconds. If it doesn't work, turn off the system, turn it back on and try again.. The person I spoke to said it may take several attempts to get it to work. Good Luck...
