Default I hope this can be replaced :(

I had this liquid air freshener hanging under the mirror, SOB leaked out and dripped onto the hazard button (the red triangle) and surrounding plastic.

Apparently the freshener eats plastic - the button is a mess, the surrounding plastic is better, but not the same.

Is there replacement for the hazard button and the surrounding plastic?

I hope there is and I hope it can be easily replaced. Oh, and I hope that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I have the same problem as well. My liquid air freshener was clipped into the air con louvre and it leaked into the silver finish around the air con vent and it ate the finish off. I'm also searching for a replacement part as well.

Wow. That must be some strong air freshener. Just think what it is doing to your lungs.

Yes, you can order those parts. I have seen them online while searching for other components. (I don't remember the site know, but when it comes to me I will post it) I am sure they are not cheap.

not sure if this link will work for you Ruski, I think what you need is the Panel Assembly:
http://www.oemmitsubishiparts.com/pa...=5&catalogid=2

I found it by typing "mitsubishi oem parts" into google, picking one, select year and make for Body Parts, Instrument Panel > Sound System > Panel Assembly. The part is quoted at $250, but doesn't specify if it is with or without navigation.

Here is another for $220

If this link works, you would need part #21

One thing I might explore, take both of the vents off and take them to a body shop...see if they can repaint them to a similar color...might be cheaper than replacing them.

On a side note, I spilled one of those oil scent things you plug into the wall all over the living room coffee table...took the varnish and stain right off the thing. Whatever that stuff is, it is crazy.

I had this problem too. Dropped and melt on the plastic which took me more than $70 to fix it.
Now I do not use liquid air fresheners anymore.
