Install MMCS in 2009 Outlander
I purchased a 2009 Outlander with the convienence package (RCA inputs) two weeks ago with the stock stereo in it. I was wondering if anyone has ever removed the stock stereo and installed an MMCS in it's place. I was told that all of the Outlanders are prewired for the MMCS so it is something I could install later. Also, does anyone have an MMCS they are willing to sell, or know where to purchase one.

Is right. I myself installed the MMCS in my Out and there is one additional harness respect the CDradio. Dealer must reprogram an option in ETACS (AND-Audio Navigation Display to ON) so that the MMCS works correctly. You can buy it with dealer or www.mitsupartsman.com
