Ipod WITH Navi

RE: Ipod WITH Navi
Does only the adapter from mitsu work? I've tried one of the cables you can buy at a store and the mmcs doesn't seem to recognize it. Someone else told me that I should be able to connect it through the yellow/white/red hookups in the back of the center console. Haven't figured that out either. Need help. Thanks!!!

Mz360224ex
I purchased this from my UK dealer who told me this was for the MMCS
I want to fit this to the ctr arm rest ( I have a post on here asking the wire codes )
does anyone know if this can be wired in to the centre armrest where where is the 5 nr wires spare ?
my MZ360224EX has the 3.5mm pin on one end into black box then 3 wires out of the other side a white , a black and an orange wire out of the other side that should go into the back of the head unit according to the instructions
I wondered if it can go intothe arm rest wires instead of pulling half the dash apart ????
if someone can tell me what the 5 wired in the arm rest code back to refs colours etc I should be able to splice into them instead yes ???
help please
