Issue with Nissan's I-Key and cellphones
Saw on CNN this morning that some cell phones can corrupt Nissan's I-Key at close range (within an inch, such as in your pocket).
The key shown on TV looks 95% like the FAST-Key (enough to where I'm sure it's the same vendor OMRON)
Nissan is replacing them..not sure if this will eventually affect FAST-Keys or not, but as a precaution, I'm keeping my cell and key in different pockets

I have noticed that when I did happen to put my Fast Key in the same pocket as my Motorola L6 phone that the Fast Key seemed to lose any of its already short range. I would have to take the key out of my pocket to get the door to recognize it. I now keep them in seperate pockets. My wife keeps her Fast Key in her purse with her older Nokia phone, and there are no issues.
I've noticed the loss of range as well a few times. I wonder if my cell was in the same pocket.
The story did say that the damage happens when sending or receiving calls while the phone was next to the key

I have too noticed a few times that I had to turn my body so that the fast key in my pocket was really close to the door. I dont recall if my phone was in that pocket too. Now reading this is more than likely was.
