Default J3 transmission fluid substitutions

The title says it all.
This is for a friend's 2015 Outlander Sport with the 6 speed auto (not CVT).
He wants to service his transmission. It's at 64K.
The dealership sourced fluid is quite expensive.
Thanks

In north America, I dont believe the sport ever got a 6-speed...only cvt. I looked at 2015 at Edmunds that lists all trims for that year...only cvt. Physically double check before you start.

That certainly is very weird. With this discrepancy in mind, I'm glad I went with the Havoline. I suggest others do the same.

HAVOLINE 226536481-12pk Full Synthetic Multi-Vehicle ATF-1 Quart (Pack of 12), 384. Fluid_Ounces
Amazon Amazon

I would too. Amazon has 12 pack of full synthetic for 66 bucks...that is a steal.
