Default Jack question

2003 Outlander.

I bought a floor jack and I have a question.

I know there are places in the manual that indicates the location to jack up your outlander.

If you wanted to put your outlander on jack stands, where would use the floor jack?

I think the welded seem is a strong point such that you could put the floor jack over from the manual indicated spots just enough to fit the stands, but I’m not sure.

I’m not knowledgeable about cars, so, I need laymen’s terms, and or pics.

Thanks,
Jay

the frame works really well for stands, u can feel the diff. between the body and the frame of the vehicle, body tends to feel like soft metal or plastic and the frame is steel, feel around and you can usually find a good spot for them............. a lot of times the frame runs straight under the engine, and in the back between the wheels by the rear axle.......... but i dont own an outlander, so im not sure of the exact positions............

Under the engine and in the back between the wheels by the rear axle should be fine.
Check into the Lancer...it might be the same thing.
