Keyless entry stopped working reprogram vs relais
Outlander 13 es zj manual,
new aftermarket 10 inch gps radio install, flawless, including dashcam which needs permanent and switch current, permanent taken from radio wire harness, switch / ignition current from a dead end plug .worked for 14 days no issues.
yesterday wife couldnt lock car with fob key.
both keys good batteries.
Inside car , lock unlock button works no problem, all doors.
radio aircon starter heater no problem.
Fuse for door lock intact and replaced.
tried resyncing posted on this forum, by pushing buttons while locking/ unlocking manually, did not work.
There's a guy who found an unrelated fuse on YouTube that once replaced, got his doors to work.Havent checked all fuses yet.
How do I know if it's the relais vs the programming.
I've had another aftermarket unit installed previously no issues, but I got dash cam power elsewhere, can t remember.
there's a YouTube vid also about reprogramming which seems to work awesome for a lot of different models
https://youtu.be/lWYdjxcje-c
That was my next try
How do I check the relais
Any suggestions
Cheers
PS also, If I lock unlock driver side no issue , but Only that lock will respond, not all 4/5. So again, relais?
my bet is an unrelated fuse
Update same day- after I check all fuses inside the car with a fuse checker, I can use the fob again, until I run the car again or switch on the ignition .
once I get out again, they stop working.
I'll disconnect the dash cam and see if it ends
