Default RE: low tire pressure

To be a bit more accurate, expanding or contracting gases is a thermodynamic principle which isa branch of Physics, so it's not exactly basic physics. Also the absolute pressure inside the tire will not change with elevation, since it will more or less keep the same volume, but since atmospheric pressure will decrease the relative pressure will change, but it will go up, not down.
lol i agree. being a person who actually went to college and studied physics, this is not a "basic physics" problem we are talking about. not that there is even anything in physics that is basic.

as soon as you have a permeable membrane like a rubber tire you create potential for loss especially when dealing with things such as expansion and contraction of a gas, which by the way is relative to thermodynamics and heat of fusion if you want to be specific, which by the way is physical chemistry.

that is besides the point.

fill your tires when they are cold. its hard to do considering most people have to drive to the place to where you are filling the tire. but do your best. and it doesn't hurt to put a little more in. and for the average person, using nitrogen wont benefit you unless you regularly drive over 200 km/h

check ur pressure regularly. its really that simple.
