Default Lug Nuts on 2007 Outlander

Hey everyone, this is my first post, and may be better suited for the "Dumb Question" category but I'm trying to get the lug nuts off of my wife's 2007 Outlander and I can't get them to budge. I'm just using the supplied tire iron/wrench, I've even jumped up and down on it (I'm 230 pounds) and nothing. Is there a trick to it, might they be locking nuts (although they look like normal lug nuts to me), or do I just need and impact wrench or something like that? Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I just did my brakes and mine were on there pretty good. Guys at firestone must have put them on with an impact wrench. I used a normal 1/2" wratchet with an extra 1'-1.5' of a steel pipe. Make sure you are turning it the correct direction!

Use a cheater bar (long extension). Leverage is your friend.

And if you apply more force than the stud wants, run to an auto parts store and pick up another stud, use a punch to knock the old stud out, pop the new one in. Broken studs aren't too hard to replace.
