Mitsubishi Outlander 2016 cabin noise
Hi I checked out lots of youtube videos and lots of them said that the 2016 outlander is quite. But when I test drove it (2016 outlander ES) last weekend I felt it was unbearably loud, the same noise level as my 2003 Mitsubishi lancer ES.
I was very sure all the windows were rolled up when I tested the cabin noise on the highway (~70 mph).
The brake of it seemed very sensitive and I was so used to my slaggish lancer so hitting the brake was very fun the whole time of me driving it.
My question is, do you guys know if the 2017 outlander will have a better/lower cabin noise than the 2016 one?

+1 on both comments. 17's are identical structure wise. My 16 GT is no Lexus, but I wouldn't call it loud. Are you sure you drove a 16 and not a 15? There was a sound improvement between those years. Also, lots of things contribute to cabin noise. You might have super quiet tires on your existing car, the road you drove might be bad, etc. Hard to tell unless you do a more scientific comparison. Not saying you didn't, just throwing it out there in case you didn't consider. Good luck.
