Mitsubishi Outlander / ASX Tailgate removal

Hi guys,

My ASX tailgate is smashed and needs to be replaced. Has anyone removed a tailgate from a ASX or Outlaner or would anyone please be able to help me out.

What do you intend to do? Did you purchase a new tailgate and want swap it out?

Yes I purchased a new tailgate and I, unable unplug the cables which is inside the roof liner. Do I need to open up everything to reach the plugs? Thanks
