Default Mitsubishi Rear Hatch Not Staying Open
Rear Hatch of my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS V6 will not stay open unless you are holding it up. What can I do to fix it?

Replace the little gas struts on the gate. You'll need to confirm fit, but here's an example:

yep, mine blew out about 5 years ago. Picked mine up at rockauto.com. pretty easy replacement.

I was on Rockauto which Liftgates support arms are better the Monroe or Strong-arm brand?

I went monroe....never heard of strong arm.
