Default Mitsubishi UK 4 Work

That's precisely it, I was no longer looking for a van comfortable enough to take me to the store, but insteada car which was practicle enoughto take me to work, hence all the criteria!

That's pretty cool! It's like a compact truck with a shell over the bed....minus the divider
I can see where a "4Work" truck like that can have many advantages over a regular compact/mid size truck and since the OP puts his tools in there, there's less of a chance for them to get stolen like they would in a truck. Since, he's not lugging around gravel or anything like that, a truck for him is not a good choice.

I see what you mean Z, but for the money, its just not worth it, at least with all the other options we have in the states. Sure you will be rolling to work in style, but I'm not sure the outlander is the best platform for a commercial vehicle, not many industries wouldchoose it for them, at leasthere in the states, due to the cost. They could get something else bigger and cheaper.
I agree to some degree. I mean, a 2 seater Outlander? must be a UK thing, because I am wondering how that would sell in the US market. The Triton L200 4work is more likely the beast of burden for the job (my 0.02$ worth). To each his own I guess. Must be the one of the best looking work vehicles in the lot, 19" alloy wheel, import spoiler, and equipped with body side moldings and back-up camera. From first glance you won't suspect it's a work vehicle.

Mitsubishi is dominating the 4x4 commercial vehicle market in the UK and where's there's demand they'll supply.

The outlander is not the only 4WORK model derived from cars.
