Default MMCS Navi question

I wanted to ask the Outie owners that have the nav system if they notice any "tilting" of their nav display as they are driving down the street, particularly at the 100m (300ft?) scale, where the car is travelling straight down the street, yet the screen momentarily tilts a little to the right or left. I took this into the dealer, and as with most of my concerns, was told "they're all like that". I am wondering if there is a possible gyro malfunction or sensitivity setting that may be off.

You can recalibrate the gyro from the menus if you think its inaccurate. I can't recall off top of my head if its under the service menu (hold SET+NAVI) or under the SET menu somewhere... it might be in both.

Also some cities' map data is *slightly* off in relation to the GPS data. From my experience, in Spokane, WA, its several hundred feet off and can cause confusion of the navi (i.e. thinking you're turning when you aren't, telling you you've arrived several hundred feet past the actual destination).

Thanks brian360 I will check the menus for the calibration and yes I have noticed the odd highway that I have "driven off" on the navi.... might be time for the upgrade.....
