Default MMCS operation

I Have a few questions on the MMCS..

When I start up the car I get a ? on the left.. It might be my Calendar, dont know.. Will remove it to find out..

On AM/FM just under the time I have 1 yellow rectangle boxes,,, The one under the time has two boxes for check mark, the left is checked and the other is not.. To the left of that are two arrows pointing to the right.

I have looked thru the manual and nothing.. Im still looking it over now and maybe it might show up.

Side note:
I did buy one of those VR3 camera systems from wallyworld. I have taken the display apart and located the video line with load resistor. I will connect this to the Nav unit possibly tomorrow.
Will let ya know if its a good thing or not.

Have you every found out items yourself after you asked the question?

I Did..

The ? in the display was for the Calendar Icon for reminder. So I forgot that I used the ? for a doctor's appt.
The two right arrows and the checked box are for autoscan.. Guess when your in autoscan it displays. I found that info on just one page.. Would of been nice if they listed it in the icon description.

VR3, not hooked yet. Wife decided to go and do a little shopping.. How fustrating.

Try again tonite

Ok, I modded the VR3 monitor (found the video ouput) on the unit.. I removed the display by unscrewing and unplugging the connector.
Soldered to a coupling cap and 75ohm resistor in the unit..

I also added the Video jack to my AUX connector and found pins that I could bend and match the plug (and it works on the Nav)
If you remember had the RF 6 Disc changer and moved into the nav.

Using that hookup in aux It displays (upside down ) but does,.. Does have the lines in pix, but will try to see what can be done..

Ok, tried and it works ok..

If you get lines in pix (interference) its your cell phone.. I turned mine off and pix improves.
Will connect to head for backup.. Since It will be rca, if I hate it, then wire in the Pana or Ebay special.
