Default MMCS Questions

Got a few questions. My 2012 outlander came factory with basic radio and a rear view camera that was displayed on the rear view mirror.

I installed the MMCS myself. Used N-05 unit. Works great. And worked great with the rear view camera for about a year. (rear view mirror screen goes blue and the back up image shows on the MMCS)

Now it takes about 10 seconds for the image to show up. It is black with the green distance lines, and then the image pops up. and will flicker some while in reverse.

My guess, bad/corroded connections. I gotta check em.

My questions:

1. If I pull out my car battery for a general reset, will I loose all my addresses, music and FM stations programmed on the MMCS

2. Is there any way to back that info up?

3. Could this issue be caused by internal programming?

Like I said, possible bad connections or maybe water got into the camera. I wash the car myself with the pressure washer and a foam cannon (works great!)

If it helps anyone, pulling your battery does not delete any info from the mmcs. including FM stations
