New to the forum, being German, I thought I bring in a serious problem to solve with the MMCS to reboot at any switch from ACC to IG (ignition). Stopping the engine immediately switches the MMCS off, loosing phone calls to the mobile etc.

Engine off, I can switch to ON and ACC. From there I could either switch back off or on a pushed clutch switch to IG. The MMCS will (re-)boot with any status change.

Surprisingly, the fuel saving Start/Stop automatic in IG state performs no reboot. So, I suppose there must be a way reconfigure the system for ACC and ON.

The Outie is a German market 2.2 DI-D Diesel, manual gear, Start/Stop switch (no key!).

On my quest to solve the problem, I went into ETACS model programming since the garage could not help on the topic and German forums did not have a solution either.

Any suggestions?
