Thumbs up More power to the RVR!!!!!!!!!!!!

What exactly can you do to the 2011 RVR to get more power without voiding the warranty??? I was thinking exhaust, cold air, k&n and maybe a chip.
I would think a gain of 20 or 30 hp would be perfect. What do you guys think??

You can add a K&N Air filter no problem, without break warranty, you might gain 3-5 HP lol, and have better gaz millage. But the RVR was made for Gaz saving, not power. If you want power its the outlander that you should have buy not the RVR.

Without voiding warrantly? Nothing much apart from a negligable increase.

If you don't mind voiding it, get the Lancer 4B11 turbo kit and convert the tranmission to standard. The HP increase depends on how much you are willing to risk the engine exploding, but I'm guessing around 240 should be safe.

So putting an upgraded exhaust, cold air intake and a chip would void the warranty then?
I just want a little extra power for passing thats all.

WOW!!!!!! Just got back from test driving the RVR here in Canada....
That vehicle is so underpowered it should not be allowed off the go cart track. Any vehicle that can't get out of its own way is just an accident waiting to happen.

I wonder how would you like an ASX (European version of our RVR) with 1.6L 116 HP engine

Why would the heavier slower vehicle be better?
