Default need more power

I need more performance out of my 97 eclipse, but I don't want to turbo it if I don;t have to. Is there any other way I can get some more power?

you can get a cold air intake, new light weight pullies, new plugs, larger diameter plug wires, header back highflow exahust, upgrade the fuel system, larger throttle body intake......... these will give slight gains with each one, however for a large gain its almost easier to save up and turbo, unless you really just dont want a turbo................ or you have high miles, in which case a turbo could hurt your engine.............

i bought pulleys, headers, cam gears, exhaust, even added an MSD ignition DIS kit. i talked to people over at Hahn Race craft and they told me that i could've saved that money and bought a turbo kit which runs slightly faster than the stock turbo. and they said that having high mileage on your car does not make any difference, as long a s you keep your car well maintained it will last long. so now i'm thinking of getting a stage 2 turbo. and all of the aftermarket mods that i bought, i won't even use. so it was a waste of money.
