Looks like this is it, #MZ360177EX, msrp $111.50.

Yes there is an update for your navigation system and that is the part number for it. i just checked our computer and we're selling them at $126.88 but if you're interested in purchasing it i wouldn't mind selling it to you at the msrp price. included in the kit is an update DVD, instrucktions, and a version up key. thanks for your inquiry.
Hmm.. is this worth it? Any suggestions? Has anyone even tried this?
Nice. Well its probably going to have updated POI's and new roads. Which IMO is worth it. It would be nice if the disk was reusable where we could pass it around. But I bet Mitsu thought about that... willopeak, you work for a dealer?

I dont work for a dealer, but i do tons of researching on google to find posts for this part# and came across someone posting about msrp on this part. So I emailed one dealer to get me a quote. I'm thinking about the upgrade.. But its shows versions 2006-c which means maps are up to 2006. Looks like they are 2 years behind. Too bad we can't share the update kit. Keep everyone posted on the update.

No it's not the 2008. The new update is 2006. Still way behind. Not sure it's worth $100 for 2 year old info.

I'll keep everyone posted. I'm in CA. I think it's the 2006-c version. Right now I'm using a 2005-B. So yeah its still behind 2 years. ahhah.. Well its worth a shot to see. Better than 2005.. Damm that's old.
Thanks..

Anyone else get this link from Mitsubishi? Not sure if it applies to updated NAV systems or just '08 models, but the HOV lane guidance would be nice if it was included in an update. Has there been any discussion on NAV operation/map differences between '08 and '07 models, because I don't think mine has this?

I don't recall seeing or reading anything about the so-called new "Diamond Lane Guidance System" in any of my '07 manuals. I also don't know if i have a "personal calendar" functionin my MMCS. Could be Japan versions only. I would say MMNA would be the best resource for info on these funtctions...if they are willing to share that info.

Maybe there will be a 2007 update out shortly that has these functions, since we already know of the2005-B and 2006-C versions.

Actually, there is a calendar function in mine, you can set anniversaries, appts, birthdays, etc.

That would really hack me off if they sold this 2006 update for $100 and then turned around and offered the 2007 update in the same year.
