You guys have reported that SW-version C, 2006, should be the latest version.I just checked my with my own MMCS (2008 european model Outtie) andit says SW-version E, Map version 2006-1, CDDB version 0663-0000. Could there be different SW-versions in US and Europe?

 

Back to my original question, from the pictures it looks like HOV lane guidance and speed controlled volume for voice assistance is in this update. There are a few others but I can't see exactly what they are.

 

just installed the update earlier.... took about 1 1/2 hours for the dvd to be loaded... saved addresses was not erased... haven't played around with it to see the diffrence from the old one......

 

damn, these new cars.
now we know why the plug on the bottom of the screen is - key goes in there right????

now we need somoene to hack the cd - probably can copy the cd....but it is useless without the key. this is like any major COMPUTER PROGRAM, LIKE AUTOCAD. Requires a key to run.

can the key be used again in the same vehicle?

Oh BTW, i called Mits USA last month, they told me to wait before upgrading my 2005-b version of the Maps because there is a scheduled new update some time later this year.

Anyone know the date?

 

Aitez.. installation went well. It took over 1.5 hours to get the installation done. All address book are saved. I did not leave my engine running. It was on position. I think was lame to leave your engine running for 2 hours. :0) I saw the HOV lane guidance, new icons, and speed volume control on the voice part. Haven't played with it yet tho. The HOV guideance.. not sure how that works.

Will use the HOV part this weekend.

I live in Mexico and update my Out to the MMCS. About of maps of navigation for Mexico, only a third part of the country appears and there is not type of information (POI, streets, etc). I ask to who have done the installation of the update of the version of maps: Does the map of Mexico appear completely? Of this way, there is information of POI, streets for Mexico?
My Outlander is 2007 XLS model.

I have another problem with maps and want to ask for some help. I am living in Lithuania, and Outlander do not have Lithuanian maps. Could enyone check in your car if they have Lithuania maps ?
