Does anyone know when the navigation update is coming out for the 07 outlander? Also is the 08 outlander navigation different than the 07?

If they ever update the maps on the 07 Outies, we will need to go back to dealer to get it updated right??

I live in a area where is like 1/2 yr old, and every-time i start my outie, the screen is blank, because the roads wasn't made when it was produced.

I called Mitsubishi USA several weeks ago and he could not give me any expected date. He admitted that it was supposed to come out in November, now they just can't say when.

Hopefully they will get one out soon. When they do you will probably be able to have your dealer do it, or be able to buy or burn a disc and update it yourself.

You will probably have to purchase an update disc, likely for <$200 or so. Hopefully they won't write them sinlge-use though, because then we could group-buy one and just mail it down the line to the next guy to update!

Hi,

forget about that. In Germany they deliver the update with a dongle, so this can be used with acertainhardware only, since you have to enter a serial and this will be writtento the harddisk. I own a 2008 Outlander with MMCS and thenavigation version is 2006-1 which
is called Q3/2006 at Mitsubishi. The map is pretty much up to date at least here in Germany. The version of the software is E and the CDDB has the version 0663-000 wich should cover "all" music upto march 2007. This update is already shown in the latest accessories catalogue with an order-no.
Therefore it should not be far away for you guys. Good luck.

Cheers
