Default Need advice regarding buying used outlander.

Hello,
I am considering buying a used 2015 outlander hybrid-plugin with almost 60000 miles under its belt. Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 PHEV GX4h 5d Auto 2015. My questions are:
1- I have noticed its insurance to be significantly higher than other petrol SUV's, especially the compulsory excess cover, is there any reason for that?
2- the running cost is also high as estimated by hpi check, especially service and maintenance, again is that something common with this model?
3- is this model a good buy? The car in question seems to be in good condition.
Thanks in advance for your help

Be sure to have an independent mechanic check inspect it, run a Carfax and Autocheck on the vehicle. Are you getting any type of warranty like certified pre-owned Mitsubishi?

It's a Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 PHEV GX4h 5d Auto 2015.
I'm in London, UK. I ran an hpi check which is ok.
Seller is offering 1 year warranty but not by Mitsubishi.

Did you take it to an independent mechanic to have it fully inspected? Do not buy it if it has not been inspected by an independent mechanic.
