New 07 Outlander owner! And an iPod question
I just bought a 2007 Outlander LS- I love it so far! My number one question that I have is how can I hook up my iPod to play through the speakers? Is this even possible? The one I bought just has the basic radio that came with the car. I saw on the Mitsubishi site there is a cable you can buy for $60 to connect the iPod to the car, but I saw on this site that you don't need that cable, any cheap one from Radio Shack will do. But I don't think I have a place to plug it into??
Any help is much appeciated! Thanks!

If you want to hardwire here is another part you can use to create a new input.

jrsd had a post on where to connect the wires. I'm purchasing the part and installing it. I'll let you know how it goes.

mtryan0505, thanks for the tip!! Sounds exactly like what I'm looking for. Where does the cord come out into the car though? I don't think either me or my husband could figure out how to do this, I wonder if we could buy this part, take it to a shop and have them install it (which would hopefully be cheaper?)

Beat,
Doesn't the rockford fosgate system have the rca in on the back of the center console? Wouldn't it be easier to just get an ipod car charger and plug it into the armrest box, then run the headphone jack to the rca's behind the center console?
