The shape of the OEM ones are not quite as nice as the aftermarket, especially where the doors meet each other. But since your car is dark it might not matter much.

Here's a place that sells them:

Nobody has those in the US, they are a Euro part. You can order them from Zontarh, but they're expensive... $400+ and you still have to paint them.

biscuit,
It's been a few months now since your post so i wanted to get your feedback on the moldings.

Are you door moldings still holding up well?

Any peeling of the double sided tape?

Do you find that your installation height works well to prevent dings?

Any discoloration of the moldings with weather?

Thanx

Everything is perfect. I think the height that I chose is pretty close to perfect. Higher might protect you from lifted 4x4 dings but it would be too high to protect from sedans.

Excellent thanx. I plan on ordering these in the next couple of weeks and will use your photos as a guide for how high to install.

Parking lots are my nemisis and i want to protect the Outtie as much as possible. It's amazing how rude, inconsiderate and just plain irresponsible other people are with their car doors.
