Default New oener needing advice. Please help

I have just nought a 2007 Outlander 2.0 DiD. In front of the gear lever next to the 12volt socket is a round buton, what does it do? I cannot find information about it anywhere in the owners manual.
thanks Richard

I think It's for the alarm, pressing within a certain time of ignition switch off deactivates internal sensors should you be leaving dog/kids etc inside

Hi
thanks, that's great now I know what it's for, we have just got a new puppy so being able to deactivate the internal sensors will be very useful.
