Sorry to drag this up again but I have a line on P215 70 R16's from an 09 Outtie..

These are going on my 2010 XLS... Just want to double check before I pull the trigger.. I don't want another set of snow tires I can't use.

Does this all look right?

Switching between the 18" All season stock and 16" snow tires works fine?

This is my last chance to back out :P

Thanks.

Will work 100% fine, snap em up and bolt em on. If you have some questionable roads, test slippage in corners, braking and acceleration on your all seasons; then do the same thing once you have the winters mounted and let us know what you think.

Mine came stock with 225/55R18s.... What do you mean 215/70R16 is the stock size?

I did check a speedo calibration site with my current stock tires vs. the ones recommended and the difference was about half a km/h at 105 km/h so it seems insignificant as far as the car is concerned...

Everything I have looked at so far says this should work fine... It's just my first time trying to get my own tires without the help of a pro so I am a little nervous.

Not all trims come with 18", lower ones have 16"

225/55R18 or 215/70R16 - you are getting either just depending the amount of money you agree to owe.

Thats the LS and the stock tire. I have a 2008 XLs and they told me to use 215/70/16 for winters. They even sell them at the dealerships for the XLS and mine also did come with 255/55/18.

OK I got em, and slapped them on.. And of course the weather gets all nice just in time. Even these cheapo winter tires are better than the stock all seasons.

Anyway everything works perfectly only problem if you can call it that is I'm not getting tpms warning messages.

My tpms worked before because I got alerts when it was cold and the pressure fell so I don't think the system is broken... Any ideas? I don't mind that it's not complaining but I'm worried something is wrong...
