New Tires
Hello everyone i just thought i pick your brains on this fine day. i own a 2013 Outlander Sport and in need of new tires. now i don't know what brands are good or bad so that's why im here. Right now i have Pirelli tires, P6 four season plus to be exact. While there not bad i was thinking maybe there are better ones out there.

I would recommend General Altimax RT 43’s. I had them on my wife’s sport when we had it and they were a great tire. Quiet, good ride, excellent traction even in snow. And not that expensive. They are one of the highest rated all season tires on tirerack.com.

Tire shopping is difficult. Even from word of mouth, you don't have a large enough a sample size to say if any tire is definitively better than another. And tire models change frequently. I agree with 15_OS. I would start looking at reviews from Tirerack or other online stores. "Good" tires can be defined in a number of ways and it depends on what you find important. Everything has a trade-off, i.e. off road capability vs. quiet, performance vs. durability, etc. I use reviews regardless of how good a tire worked for me in the past because things change. Sorry not more helpful, I'm still on my stock tires. Tire rotation is a phrase to live by!
