I agree. It's greatfull to have an "ghost" of the navi partition.
Thank you very much.

RE: Newest Europe maps ?
you have the latest Navteq maps available for Mitsu. all cars produced after August 2008 have the latest version 2007-A (3rd quarter of 2007) installed. still out of date but this is the best you can get at the moment. it would be great if you can share the image. for me personally it is the only way to update my mmcs (by swapping the disk contents) as I have the UM (US) version with manually installed EU maps and it is rejecting the european update disks. so if you would be so keen to share it - I would be grateful.

RE: Newest Europe maps ?
Just before i collected my car in November 2008 I read the trouble everyone had with outdated maps so expressed to my dealer i would not accept old maps or would accept at least a free upcoming update. ( I noticed Mitsubishi announced the new model release of oktober 2008 ) My dealer managed to get me the latest version available including the 40 GB HA inside the MMCS so I think my dealer rocks in that sense..
We have a dedicated Disk mirror tool at work doing bitlevel copies so that is what I'll use to mirror the Harddisk then i will try to unlock the disk and try to burn a Ghost image. But give me some time bit tight on workload nxt few weeks.

I've just bought a 2008 Peugeot 4007 GT (UK RHD spec) and would be grateful for any help in updating the software & maps (European versions). I don't think that the previous owner had any updates to the systems since it was bought new in March 2008, it still has the original SW Version B, maps 2006-1 and CDDB 0663-0000.
I have all the required cables and equipment for any size and type of IDE or SATA HDD (3.5" and 2.5") so only need the software and instructions to perform update. I also have a copy of Norton Ghost 2009 if thats required. I also have a couple of good spare 2.5" and 3.5" IDE HDD (non-SATA) which I can use for testing and backup purposes.
TIA
Tony
