No manual Outlander for Australia until 2007 ... maybe!
If you have read my other posts you would know 2 things. First I live in Australia and second we currently only get Outlanders in AWD Auto.
Well I really want a manual AWD so I decided to write to product planner for Outlanders at Mitsubishi Australia. I explained that I wanted a manual and asked if there were any intentions of bringing the manual Outlander to Australia.
It was good to see the person responsible replied quite quickly and provided a reasonable sized letter covering various things I asked about. However, the crux of the message was they were not planning on bringing the manual transmission Outlander to Australia for the current platform. They are considering bringing it for the next platform. From the info around the web this won't be until sometime in 2007.
