You have to use a module. This is not like older cars where you can tap brake and turn signal wires.

Thanks ccernst,

I understand that, that is why I want to use the Mitsubishi spare connectors in order to power the hitch, have you got a outlander same spec where you can take an image of the connector ?

That's the one I was looking for, thanks very much for the pdf. Have you any other gems like this for wiring that is not detailed in the manuals ?
