Hello everyone
Just to update you all, I think I have found out why there is an audible warning everytime I start the car....it's because I didn't have the seatbelt on when I turn the key! I have the habit of starting the car before I put on my seatbelt and it was only when I found a thread on someone wanting to stop this warning sound in their car that I realised. So, given that the oil can icon shows up on ignition in the display for a few seconds then going out when I start the car - I have nothing to worry about (except for my other thread on why my car went into limp mode) Thank you all for sharing your opions and see you in the other thread!)

Just posted the same question, not audio alarm as I realised the seat belt. As I have said I see an "oil can" symbol, no message, when I switch on. It goes after a few secs when the Welcome screen changes. I also get no warnings when staring or running. From the replies to your question I'm happy that this is normal.
