alright so i have my 95 eclipse Gs, 420a. And it wont start, Its timed and everything. I got it hooked up to the computer by a friend " mechanic" and it read my idle control sensor. So he looked around and seen that the gasket between my Intake mainifold, and the block is hanging out on the right side.. if your in front of the car. I took some pic's to show you. He said that is most likely the problem. And also after i cranked my car a few times it would start "sputter for like 1 sec" and die..then ill do it again and the same thing.. Then again and it backfired through intake. SO mabye with the gasket hanging out, then there is a gap on the left side and its allowing the air to be sucked up causing the backfire possibly? I will get the pic's up asap. pictures would be great, i have an idea of what could be the problem. The more precise the pictures, the faster we can help and get your car startted again.
