outlander 06 hard to start

it looks like its the evap canister and sensor.

Hi,
Had the very same problem with my 05 Outlander, it took a Ford man to tell me what the problem was.
You need to replace the EVAP purge solenoid, it should show a code reading of P0441, I had the dealer do the install here in Canada, pricing including the part was $248.38. (plus taxes).
After seeing where it was, I could have done it myself.
When looking under the hood, it's on the back side of the engine on the left.

change the evap canister and still problem,i remove the gas cap with car running and i could ear bubbling sound just like if you blow in a straw in a glass of water

I would still replace the EVAP purge solenoid, when filling up with gas it acts like it flooding, which could be the sound your hearing.
As I said it fixed my problem, and you can replace it yourself.

I ordered a new evap purge solenoid,should get it next monday,will post the result.

Sorry did not reply faster,did change the evap purge solenoid myself,and it run perfectly ever since. Paid $75.00 for the prt.
