Does anybody know what is the wading depth for 2008 Outlander 2.4 CVT? I have not found that info anywhere.

 

I doubt if you are going to find that information anywhere. I have an 08 ES with the 2.4 engine and CVT. The ground clearance on the vehicle is 8.5 inches. If the water is deeper than that there's always the danger there could be a rock or other obstruction hidden by the water that could damage the underside of the vehicle. Even in shallower water there's the danger of a hidden pothole that could cause the vehicle to bottom out or hit an obstacle.

 

I know that. I have seen wading depths printed for example Volvo XC70, so I thought that it would have been nice to know information.

 

i took it in the lake once and the engine started steaming. but it didn't stall.
it was about a foot deep.
