Outlander 2004 petrol Leak. I need to drop petrol tank.
Hi folks
Filled the car with fuel the other day and can see, and smell!, a leak towards the passener side rear of the tank. I can't see the leak as it's hidden up high. It's not the side to side venting pipe. The tank is a bit rusty so I think it's gone through in an awkward area. What would be the procedure for dropping the tank out after draining it. I can only see 4 bolts holding it in place but will presumably have to drop the exhaust and prop shaft?

My 2005 Outlander got it's tank coated with some bitum think. One year warranty. If I fill it smels gas. At least no check engine light. Nothing to do.
