Hi,

My Outlander seems to be emitting light Grey smoke that smells like diesel from the exhaust or it could be oil not sure how to tell the difference.
It is really strong when outside the car and does find its way into the car when its parked. The more I rev it the more grey smoke comes out.

The fact its coming out the exhaust rules out cracked manifolds.

Mitsubishi MUT III SE shows no issues or warning lights.EGR positioning seems to be operating correctly in the diagnostics program. I can hear the turbo whine up and down when I rev which I assume is normal?

Any suggestions?
