HI All:

I have the V6 and think it is a super engine.....

But the bigger question is why does the Poll feature never work...!!!!!

I vote v6. I think the 4 cyl is to weak to use in a CUV or bigger vehicle...not unless they put the 4G63 from the Evolution and made it the Evolander.

Have the 2.4L engine in my ES. Plenty of power even on long uphill 6% grades.

I think people who use V6 should compare to 2.4L L4. It is very smooth and quiet, not mentioning the benefits of the timing chain - very rare. Direct ingnition - COP and CVT transmission, all this resulting in a very good fuel efficiency.

168 HP is more than adequate for this type of car. I vote for 2.4L. It would not harm to release turbo version or mech compressor upgrade in the future though.

Yes I agree on the timing chain HandyPal, no worries about replacing a timing belt. I have not driven the 6cyl so I cannot compare, but I vote for the 2.4

Only driven the 3.0 engine, so that gets my vote. I personally do not like CVT transmissions though. Maybe it is just something to get used to.
