Default outlander injector removal

Hi does anyone know how the injector come out i have a leaking injector i have tryed to take it out but does the engine top cover need removing or does it just come out after removing the injector clamps thanks.
apologies it`s a 2011 4n14 egine 175 bhp 2.3 diesel thanks.

It would help if you told us what Model year, what fuel type, engine size and even engine code your car has......

After removing the 2 bolts on either side of the injector clamp the injector should come out easily. If it doesnt you will need some kind of puller to draw it out, but be careful, they are fragile and expensive. Do not twist it via the plastic plug on top. You can try to twist it via the section that the pipe screws into, but with not too much force. If it doesnt come loose, try refitting everything back, go for a drive to get it all hot, and quickly try again before it cools down... WD40 or another penetrating spray might help
