Default Outlander Airbag computer replacement

I have an outlander 2007 XLS with a water damaged SRS airbag computer.
I got used and factory restored computer from a specialist but once the computer is installed it has to be reprogramed with a car.

I got a quote from the local dealership for $115 if nothing else needs to be done. Is this something what can be done with the MUT-3 tool?
There is quite possible that I have other issues which I a have not aware of at this moment. Would it make sense just buy a MUT-3 from ebay for example?

Thanks!

MUT-3 will cost you at least $600.
Is it feasible? In your case it might be.

Thank you for your advise!
I am planning to keep the vehicle as long as I can anyway and I could also always sell the tool on ebay for $150 less than I paid for it so there is not a lot of risk/wasting money here.

Do you think is it worth to get this one:
Mitsubishi MUT 3 Diagnostic Scanner Tool VCI Multi Use Tester III | eBay

Or just get this one:

New Mitsubishi Car Scanner Mutiii MUT 3 | eBay

English is my second language and if I understand this correctly the first one has a memory card and slot( for ECU reprograming/software update?)
looks more like the original one.

The second one does not have any of those but it claims it still able to do some sw update writing the new software straight to the ECU from the computer not from the memory card to the ECU as the top one.
And also both are saying they don't supply ecu writing software with the tool

I'd take less expensive one.

Obtaining MUTIII software isn't that big task.
