Default RVR/outlander sport airbag light

Hi all so i bought a OEM fit gps headunit from ebay and after i installed it my AIRBAG sign came on and wont go away. is there anything at all I can do before I make a trip to my local dealership PLEASE HELP.

uh... have you tried installing the stock radio and seeing if it goes away?

Yes I did and its still. Would the airbags still deploy if the sign is on ?

check the connector that attached to the HAZARD button. Is it in place?

you have to go to the dealership so they reset the airbag sensor.
I know of somebody who had the same problem when the was installing a Pioneer deck and he had to go twice.

I would suggest that once you are fully done go. You don't want to go multiple times

Hi , no I didn't cut any wires , I didn't think bout checking the hazard button I shall do that and I will take to mitsubishi if its still on. This sucks hope they don't charge too much

Just don't mention anything. Say "Hi, this light came on and IDK why..." They may just reset it for you.

This only works if your Navi looks OEM... (if the hardware looks OEM, but not the images just leave the screen OFF when you go in)

Update .. Walked into Mitsubishi just said light came on they ran there codes cleared no charge good to go.
