I have just purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander Warrior on a 57 plate. I didn't buy it from a Mitsubushi main dealer, however the salesman said the CD player could hold more than one CD (up to 6). When I read the manual there is reference to an auto changer / stacker unit but I'm not sure if the the Warrior spec has this unit fitted as standard. Is there anyone out there who could verrify this for me.

Q. Should my head unit be capable of holding more than one CD at a time or is it one CD at a time?

Can't really help much. I do not have the nicer radio system and do not have any type of CD changer.

It may be a little more work up front, but (at least mine) has the capability to read MP3 files. You could rip your cd's to MP3 format, then put each album into a folder on a burned CD. You should be able to get 6 or so albums to a disc. I've done this to all my CDs and it has really cut down on the number of discs I need to keep in the car.

Cheers, I'm taking it to the main dealer to get some recall work done, they said they'll have a look. It has the MP3 facility so I might go down the same route.

It should have a 'load' button on the front and a 'disk up/down' if its the multichanger version.

Press load, it says 'insert disk', put cd in, press load again until all 6 are in the unit.
Most Elegance versions came with 6-disk as standard with a fosgate audio system.
