Default Outlander Fastkey drains battery in 3 days?

One of my key fobs completely drains a new battery in 3 days. It works perfect up until that point. None of the buttons appear stuck (led isn't continually flashing). Any ideas? Hate to buy a new key since they are so expensive.

I assume you've already confirmed this trend with several new batteries. Maybe there's a parallel short. First, any moisture inside the unit?

Hi all, I've seen a few posts about the cause of this being the keyfob being stuck in "test mode". How does one get the keyfob out of test mode?
