Outlander hesitates on take off
Hmmm, burbank...I think about an hour.
The strut bar was specially fabricated, it's a straight bar, not the Lancer bar. That's the first thing I said, I don't want to mess with my master cylinder. Did your strut bar make a noticeable difference or does it just look really cool? How much body flex can there be? I'm unsure on this one. Damn, Damn, Damn, you have AWD, so I can't blame a slower time on that.[&o]

hmmm, 8" ground clearance... nope, not designed for tight corners. Well, now I just have too many parts to buy and too little money. I think I felt better when I first joined the forum and din't think I had any options.
I'm residing in Africa with an 04 Outlander with that problem. My car's been in the "shop" for a month because they didn't have the manuals for the car. (They claim only 2 others in the country-Zimbabwe). After turning the key and shifting inot drive it just revs up. Sometimes it'll kick in sometimes it won't. I brought it in before I got stuck at a bad place at a bad time.........
After hooking up the vehicle toa computer they had codes but couldn't even decipher them ( PO 705 transmission control range; 28 (short circuit).
After calling back to the selling dealership, they told me that it was a possible short in the wire of the transmission range switch. That I needed part 8604A011 inhibitor switch or neutral safety switch....more to follow..................

I have AWD..will the Lancer Strut Bar really work? I had to mod the master cylinder...BOOO!
Cali is soon...I won't be with the Outlander when I visit in a week or so. How far are you from Burbank?

bedesman, I think hesitating on takeoff is a slight understatement...lol. Let us know what they come up with.
30? That's it? Wow...very cool. I'm coming over for lunch! I need to take pictures really bad.....it's been cold and nasty for months so it's not worth it. Blaa.........
Lunch is on.
Um hmm, you're just afraid to give away the secrets. Nobody cares about the outside of the car, just the engine....lol just kidding man. I just looked up and noticed you've been here almost two years, join right after picking up the Outlander or did you have other Mitsu's too?
