Clock spring is matching. Just leave the stock one in place.

ALL the wheel buttons work great! Very easy mod

Arrow Hey

Where did you get the evo steering wheel? How did it work with the airbag? Is the steering wheel the same size or smaller? Do you have more pics or installation instructions?

I got mine from a member on the evoxforum, but salvage yards work too, i got a few quotes from them. I paid $350 for the wheel and airbag.(Shipped) Just make sure it has the steering wheel radio controls. Early evos had the s-awc switch on the wheel.

The wheel is roughly the same size. I never noticed a difference.

The airbag is plug and play. Same connectors. No error codes after installation. I have not crash tested it lol. Like i said, no error codes and we all know those systems are sensitive.

I do not have installation pics, but when i get back from vacation (on iphone now) I can post similar pics and pictures from the service manual. Btw you should download the service manual. It is a stickied thread

Talking

This summer, expecting our third kid (fifth, if you count the 2 80# dogs ), we traded in our beloved Fit for something a bit bigger.

We took it where we took the Fit, but there was no worrying about ground clearance this time. We tried the 4WD system, but since we know how to get to the cabin in an econobox, we're not yet impressed. Winter may change our mind, that's the only time we skipped driving the 15 minutes on forest roads.

Sadly, what our Outlander usually does is just to look good when we look out the window.

Our transition from family sized SUV to city car is now complete

Yup, Quartz. I generally don't say the "brown" part

Looking for a used car, color choice is not top of our list, but we got lucky, it looks really good in most lights.
