Hi - I've brought a used 69 Outlander this week from a dealership and I'm currently experiencing a few abnormalities based on other automatics I drive.

When putting the car in park, the electronic parking break doesn't automatically engage. And the automatic gearbox doesn't change gear unless I take my foot off the accelerator. Are these normal or is there a setting a need to change?

 

Is there a switch near the park break lever that says auto hold?

Do you know what engine is in your Outie? And is its transmission a CVT?
