I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere, I did some searching and couldn't find anything

My offside rear fog light has no bulb in it and i need to get one in as failed the MOT. When I give my numberplate to auto factor suppliers, they come up with a bulb that should fit, but doesn't.

The one they have looks like one of those standard halogen ones with a flat glass base with curled wires

The socket on my car has more or a rectangular shape, with four holes in two rows - see picture. To me it looks like it would suit something with a plastic base. But I am struggling to find something suitable

Can anyone help please? Any info very gratefully received

 

If you cannot find another way then you may have to cut that off and replace with another connector.
