Default Outlander sightings?

In the areas where you all live have you noticed a lot of other Outlanders? I live in the northern end of what they call the DC metro area, so I pretty much roam N/S betweenHagerstown andBethesda and E/W between Baltimore and Point of Rocks. So far wehave only see4 or5other Outlandersdrivingaround this highly populated area. I know the sales figures were pretty low, but at such a bargain I'd expect to see more.

Don't get me wrong l like having a unique vehicle (except when i flash my lights at slower movingcars), but where are all you guys/gals?

what you mean you flash your lights? lol

Well i live in the auburn area about 40 minutes from seattle. There is a scrace of outties over here. Every couple of weeks or a month or so, I see only 1-2 outties. Not that much.. don't know why?

I see more 08 highlanders out there...

But its alll good since this car has a unique rear end and heads turn when i stop at redlight.

I bought mine in June and at MOST, I've seen 10. Every time I think I've seen another one, it turns out to be another damn Lexus RX.

Since May '07, I have only seen maybe 4-5. I'm in the Denver area where there are tons of MDX's and Lexus RX's. I have also seen quite a bit more '08 Highlanders as well...

People missing out

I see a random outlander while im out once and awhile. But there are the main 3 or 4 I see locally and can identify the driver. I would say I have seen no more than 20 in the year I have been driving mine but 99% of the time I am either texting or playing with ipod or doing something dangerous.

I live in a town of about 20,000 I have only seen 1 other Outlander Red LS twice in the last 6 months, and every time it was parked at the grocery store, we have a few upscale neighborhoods in town,I see a Porsche Cayenne at leastonce a week. It's nice to drive an exclusive vehicle.

I know what you mean about not seeing many of them in this area, I think it has to do with how many dealers there are in an area and how big of a dealer it is. I live in Salisbury, Maryland, and the closest dealers are in Annapolis or Dover, DE and when I bought my outie they only had like 5 in stock, I think I have only seen 1 in Salisbury ever. I bought my car up in PA because I have family near there, and the dealer had 30+ outies, and there are like 5 dealers with a large amount of stock within 30 miles of there, so therefore I have seen over 2 dozen of them or more, I see the same 2 all of the time when I am up there. I guess there just aren't many mitsubishi dealers in the MD/DC/VA area.

Smily157,
There's a bunch of dealers in MD/VA/DC/PA, trust meI contacted everyone within a 100 miles whenI started gettingready to buy. Must of been like 10-12 dealers I emailed/called trying to get the best deal. It seems though that most were ajoint venture, like Chevrolet/Mitsubishi or Pontiac/Mitsubishi dealers. Did i miss something and GM bought Mitsu? Even the warranty goes through GM.

They all had at least 7-10 2007's on the lot, but only acouple had2008's. I almost bought one in Annapolis, but ended up buying one in Frederick because we liked the color combination better and the price was still right. Plus it had the 7-spoke wheels which we liked better.

I don't get near Salisbury to often, but if i do i'll honk when i see another Outtie in case it's you

In Toronto here, where there are a LOT of people here, I don't see much Outlanders. When I bought my Outie, which was at October of 07, I would see about 2 Outlanders in a week. But for some COOL reason, when 2008 started, I see A LOT more of Outlanders out-there. I see atleast 5-8 Outlanders in a week.

(BTW, do the rear tail-gate scuff plate come with the 08 Outie. Cuz every Outie I saw, it had the rear scuff plate and window visor. Or maye it was from the dealer)

And I agree, everyone time I think I saw a Outlander here at Toronto, I'm so pump., But when I get closer, is a RX! -_- There is so much of RX here at Toronto, I bet you if there was 10 SUVs, there is atleast 3 RX. Why do people buy the RX, and not the HOT Outlander, LOL!
